Homecoming will be held on January 21, 2018, as Wallace State basketball hosts Southern Union. Wallace State SGA is currently taking applications for Homecoming Queen and court. The requirements are as follows:
1.) Students must officially announce their intentions in correspondence to this email.
2.) The candidate must complete and return the attached application by either emailing it to email@example.com or turning the application in to Whit Rice in the Bailey Center, room 106.
3.) Each candidate must be in good academic standing at Wallace State.
4.) Each candidate must be willing to represent Wallace State in photographs and in marketing.
5.) Each candidate must also be willing and able to represent the college at Wallace State sponsored events.
6.) Each candidate must provide a picture of herself with her application.
7.) Each candidate may campaign in order to gain voter support.
8.) No candidate may attack or post negative things about another candidate.
A Homecoming Committee, as set by the Wallace State SGA, will screen each candidate. A maximum of 10 candidates will be selected to walk in homecoming. If more than 10 applications are submitted, the Homecoming Committee will schedule interviews to select 10 applicants.
Applications are due by January 10, 2018. Voting will take place on January 17 – 18, 2018. Only current Wallace State students may vote.
